Subject: Too Bad...

I just installed my copy of One-Touch Mail for the Palm, hooked up my Palm
modem, and checked my email over a landline via PPP to Sirius to compare
download times with my Pocketmail Backflip. It was like night and day. The
BackFlip feels like it's downloading at 4800 baud compared with 14.4k bps
with the snap-on modem.

The Backflip is good for casual use, but I'm looking to hit this thing a
little harder - I rely too much on email for everything from job status
notification, job listings, email lists, etc. I'd like to make it
transparent, and don't want to have people mail @pocketmail when they think
I'm on the road, and to @kataan.org otherwise - I'd rather have it all come
into one address.

Back to iGo it goes... Maybe the Minstrel will work out for Steve, and I'll
be a latte-sipping wired junkie. Or, maybe I should try selling it on Ebay?
:)

Have you seen Documents to Go? It's an Excel and Word document reader. Can't
edit it, but being able to carry Word docs with me is a nice touch.
